Description from goodreads: Alexia Tarabotti is laboring under a great many social tribulations. First, she has no soul. Second, she’s a spinster whose father is both Italian and dead. Third, she was rudely attacked by a vampire, breaking all standards of social etiquette.
Where to go from there? From bad to worse apparently, for Alexia accidentally kills the vampire — and then the appalling Lord Maccon (loud, messy, gorgeous, and werewolf) is sent by Queen Victoria to investigate. With unexpected vampires appearing and expected vampires disappearing, everyone seems to believe Alexia responsible. Can she figure out what is actually happening to London’s high society? Or will her soulless ability to negate supernatural powers prove useful or just plain embarrassing? Finally, who is the real enemy, and do they have treacle tart?
My Review: I read the book version/original version of Soulless in 2010. I was lent the book by my friend and if I had, had a book blog then I would have gave it a 7/7. Yup better than chocolate.
This is the adapted Manga is amazing. The art work is fantastic and captures in my mind’s eye what I pictured each character looking like. The story was just as exponentially magnificent and I highly recommend this series to everyone and anyone!!!!!!! And I can’t wait til volume 2 (which is supposed to be Changeless) comes out here’s the cover art:
Overall rating: 7/7
